Hard agree David. Saying the two things are causing similar damage doesn't minimize one or the other. We need people to wake up to the damage Covid is causing and no one is questioning the damage that AIDS causes. It is well-accepted, no one questions it. Thank you for saying this and for all you do to raise awareness.

Well said.

"Don't look away" is the main takeaway for me.

The cognitive dissonance and denial needs to be broken through across the board, and a campaign via media from gov/healthcare with the truth of the matter once they have a plan. The public has a right to know, especially following the covid enquiry.

They need to grow a pair and take proper action or else fall behind. I can't see how this won't drastically affect their precious economy if the workforce keeps dwilding.

Maybe we're better for them sick, which it feels is the narrative right now as the shift towards NHS privatisation is on course. Maybe there's too much money to be made from big pharma. Or maybe not quite enough people are sick enough yet, and perhaps the forecast for that happening is too far ahead in the future and this govt wants to take what it can as with previous govts, then leave all the mess to the next one to deal with. Take what they can and profit from it as they did with PPE. We know our best interests are not at heart.

I still don't understand their thinking. They must know this, they must know what's going on, read the science. We haven't much time it seems. For many it's already far too late and a lot of damage is done.
